PathoPure is an all-purpose cleaner/degreaser.

PathoNex is a hypochlorous acid disinfectant/sanitizer on EPA list N.

PathoSans’ products are made with water, salt and electricity.  The process, called electrochemical activation (ECA) technology, produces two solutions: a sodium hydroxide cleaner/degreaser and a hypochlorous acid disinfectant/sanitizer. It’s a dependable process that has been used for decades.  Historically, ECA solutions contained salt residue, making them unsuitable for use on many surfaces such as stainless steel.  Our patented technology produces high purity solutions consisting only of the active ingredients and pure water.

It is never recommended to mix PathoSans cleaner or disinfectant with other cleaning products or water. Pathonex is not compatible with other chemicals such as acids, ammonia and hydrogen peroxide. DO NOT MIX WITH OTHER CHEMICALS.

You can mix PathoSans products together without harmful effects. However, mixing them will neutralize/deactivate them.

Pathopure has no scent and no added fragrance. Pathonex is a clear liquid with a slight chlorine smell.

Yes. Refer to the EPA registered label for specifics.

The goal of cleaning isn’t to remove germs but to prepare the surface for effective disinfection.   Cleaning removes dirt and impurities from surfaces. Without proper cleaning, soil, and grime are left behind and give bacteria hiding spaces and protection from disinfectants. You can’t disinfect a dirty surface.  Clean first with PathoPure; then disinfect with PathoNex.

Apply PathoNex with cloth, sponge or sprayer onto the precleaned surface until thoroughly wet. Allow surfaces to remain visibly wet for the recommended contact time. If desired, air dry or wipe dry. Must rinse or dry on metal surfaces.

PathoPure has a shelf life of one year.

The shelf-life of PathoNex is 30 days. Hypochlorous acid is a unique molecule and can only exist in equilibrium. Unless stabilized with other chemicals, hypochlorous acid can react with air or even other hypochlorous acid molecules and gradually degrade back into the salts it was made with.

The PathoSans patented electrolytic cell technology keeps the salt separated from the product during production and produces one of the purest forms of hypochlorous acid available. However, the purity isn’t permanent. The unique feature that makes pure hypochlorous such an effective disinfectant also results in a shorter shelf life. Our subscription service helps ensure you have a steady supply of PathoNex on hand.

However, individual chemical sensitivities may exist. Protective gloves and goggles are recommended if sensitivities occur.

The user should also consider the usage environment when making decisions regarding protective wear.  It is recommended that gloves are worn if the cleaning site or soil itself is hazardous.
