PathoNex Efficacy
PathoNex has been tested and found to be effective against the following micro-organisms on a pre-cleaned, hard, non-porous surface.
Target pathogens for food contact surface sanitizer, 1 minute contact time:
- Salmonella Enterica, Strain ATCC 6539
- Staphylococcus Aureus, Strain ATCC 6538
Target Pathogens for Disinfection, 10 minute contact time
- Poliovirus Type 1, Strain ATCC VR-1562
- Feline Calicivirus (Norovirus Surrogate), Strain ATCC VR-782
- Salmonella Enterica, Strain ATCC 10798
- Staphylococcus Aureus, Strain ATCC 6538
- Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Strain ATCC 15442
PathoNex is on EPA List N. It has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to SARS-COV-2 on hard. non-porous surfaces. Therefore, PathoNex can be used against SARS-COV-2 when used in accordance with the directions for use against Feline Calicivirus as a Surrogate for Norovirus on precleaned, hard, non-porous surfaces. The science behind PathoPure
PathoPure sodium hydroxide cleaner/degreaser and PathoNex hypochlorous acid disinfectant/sanitizer are produced by the electrolysis of salt and water. Commonly referred to as electrochemically-activated solutions (ECAS), PathoSans solutions are produced using patented technology to ensure highly effective cleaning and disinfection without being irritating to eyes, skin and nose. The solutions offer both high-performance and a gentle way to clean and disinfect.

Both solutions contain softened water and small amounts of the active ingredient. You can review the labels here. But what’s not in the solutions is just as important as what is.

Bought the combo pack to try 1-2 punch of cleaner and disinfectant. Both seemed to work really well but what I didn’t expect to like as much as I did was the fact that they left nothing behind after cleaning. Nothing sticky, streaky or smelly – just clean. PathoPure cleaner is terrific on grease around the cooktop.

These products WORK. These solutions don’t have the harsh and intense odors of other brands, but don’t let that fool you. I live in a college house of 5 guys and the cleaner and disinfectant made the only bathroom in the house look brand new. Our kitchen is now free of grease/stains and our kitchen table is spotless. Great product, amazing results.

My new go-to household cleaning products! I wish I found these sooner. I never have to worry about a product stripping the coating from my furniture or have to worry about toxic ingredients harming my child.
I used to use Meyers religiously, but it always left an oily film. PathoSans products are the best solution out there!
If I had any feedback to share it would be to add a natural scent to it (like lemon!).
